Amber's first flight and hotel stay

We need to go to Chennai to register the birth of our daughter in the embassy. Thus off we go to Chennai. This will be Amber's first flight at 4 months old.

Amber at Bangalore airport

First time in airplane

Overall she was a good baby. Didn’t fuss as long as we play with her throughout the journey

Waiting to get our luggage

She slept while one the flight home

We check in Marriott Courtyard Chennai. We choose Marriott all the time because we are a member and we get to collect the point. Beside that my hubby has the Platinum card so we got a few privilege such as welcome gift, upgrade room, free wifi and access to the lounge.

The huge room. One thing I like about Marriott is their bed, sheets, room are all standard looking. I don't need a very high class necessity as long they are standard it's good for me.

My little girl enjoying the bed

The bathroom

Free welcome gift, i think bruschetta with cream cheese and a cocktail

After a day out we relax in the room

We ordered room service, fried rice satay i think, not bad

How i bathed my little girl in a hotel? I brought along a large tupperware that can fit her and just simply wipe/wash her up. She look so adorable in it.

We went to Chennai twice and we stayed in Marriott too

Chilis in Bangalore, India

In Bangalore we missed those usual foods we had back in our country.  So when we saw there is Chilis wow we just went straight in. We had the usual Mushroom Jack Fajita, too bad it doesn’t have the beef w/ chicken combo. So we just have the Chicken.

Surprisingly the price here is cheaper than Malaysia and the portion is huge. It tasted better than Malaysia’s chilis for this dish.

Free Green Chilis

Mushroom soup per cup. Cheaper when u order a main course.

Mushroom Jack Fajita. Just love everything about this. The chicken, green pepper, plenty of onion, mushroom and cheese. We usually share this.

Steak that doesn't taste good

Free nachos as they just open the restaurant in Phoenix Mall, Bangalore.

Oh btw you will get a free appetiser for your next visit. How great !!! So every month we will dine in Chilis at least once.

My all time favourite dessert. Strictly for sharing only.

My mum came to visit me.

My sister.

The bill usually for 2 person come to Rs1000. That's around RM60 only. Its very cheap compare to Malaysia.

Barbeque Nation, Bangalore

While in Bangalore, one of our favourite restaurant is Barbeque Nation. I think the price is just around RM30 per person. Free cocktail and add more $ if you would like to upgrade to a beer. Another thing i like is the free flow of bottle water. Note: in India where the water come from is very important. Usually in restaurant they will ask bottle water or normal water. Normal water is from their tap.

Menu

The grill is on each table. I really love the prawn. Everything on the grill taste the same, tandoori taste. They will replenish once it is finish. You can request for the item that you want to eat. Usually i would just take prawns and fish. Oh not forgetting they serve very delicious chicken drumstick. I could easily eat 3 of it !

Cocktail

This dish is from the main buffet table. Usually they will have briyani rice, some mutton/chicken curry, salad bar, desert bar.

The place is huge but make sure you call for reservation as it is always full.

I think I was 7 month pregnant here.

There are a few branches in Bangalore but we usually goes to the one in Koramangala.

My little princess birth

My princess was born on the 10 july 2012 in Bangalore, India. My husband was relocated to India for a year thus i give birth there. It's a very daring decision as you know in India many cases where the hospital got some 'complication' or 'error'. But all is well and my daughter soon to be 1 year old.

Fresh from the oven

In this hospital baby sleep with the mother in the same room.

Cake and pastry from the hospital. We took the most expensive package.

I research for many many days and ask around where is the best hospital, best doctor for me. After thinking through and got a recomendation from a fellow singaporean at the Registrar in India, we decided to go to Cloudnine hospital. The Dr that I choose is Dr. Praveena Shenoi. For me I think she is a great Dr. She answers all my questions and when my husband was away to the US for a week, my Dr knew about it she gave me her private number so just in case i needed any help during that moment. She always greet me with a smiling face.

Our apartment in Bangalore, India

This is where we stayed for a year in Bangalore. Salarpuria Sancity, at Sarjapur Road. Opposite there is a small mall/market. Quite convenient.

The playground.

The dining area.

The living hall.

Outside balcony view.

The landlord provide with all the basis necessity but we did request a dryer (outside to dusty to hang my clothes to dry), water filter in the kitchen and a filter for the bathroom (i have sensitive skin). They think that we are weird because filter to bath? But do you know the water condition in India. They transport the water daily with a water tank to fill in the tanks in the apartment. I didn't know that there is this kind of things happening.
