Anand sweet shop

Indian sweets are mostly made from sugar, milk and nuts. We bought this for relatives and friends back home in Malaysia. My mother love Indian sweets as it is creamy and full of flavour but to me I think it is too sweet. It is not cheap for a small piece actually. While we were in Bangalore, for Deepavali we bought small boxes of sweet from this shop to be given to our Indians friends and worker for the occasion.

There are so many to choose from. After we choose it will be weight for the price.

Cafe Coffee Day

Cafe Coffee Day is a chain store in India like Starbucks. They have it everywhere ! Their drinks is just so so, I prefer Starbucks Java Chip though. Too bad they don't have Starbucks in India.

Feeding Amber in Coffee Day

To be honest i don't like the cakes in India, I feel that it's overly sweet and hard

They do have Gloria Jean's too in Phoenix Mall. We ordered chocolate drink this time, tasted ok only. Another pit stop for us to feed Amber and take a rest.

Rajdhani Thali Restaurant Bangalore

This restaurant is in Phoenix Mall nearby the food court at the top floor. Thali is a common Indian food. It's quite unique if we have not seen one. They will come with a big plate with many small plate in it.

We were among the first to eat.

The waiter will bring the food to served us in the small plate. Mainly it's dal, many types of curries. Oh and it's vegetarian. I like the potatoes curries and their sweet dessert. You may refill whichever dish you finish. They do served with chapati or rotis too.

Everyone should try this once as an experience

Tandoor, Bangalore

Tandoor is a nice Indian restaurant and the price is quite pricey too. They served delicious Indian food. I love their bread nan and tandoori chicken.

This was us before Amber was born.

You can order half chicken or full chicken. Half chicken is only 2 pieces while full chicken 4 pieces.

I think this is butter curry. It goes well with nan bread.

I always order cheese nan while my hubby will order butter nan. The nan here do not come with sauce unlike in Malaysia will be served with dal.

After that we will be given some sweet. I only eat the white sugar sweet.

We went back a few times when we have visitor, we will bring them there as the food never disappoint.

Barbeque Nation, Bangalore

While in Bangalore, one of our favourite restaurant is Barbeque Nation. I think the price is just around RM30 per person. Free cocktail and add more $ if you would like to upgrade to a beer. Another thing i like is the free flow of bottle water. Note: in India where the water come from is very important. Usually in restaurant they will ask bottle water or normal water. Normal water is from their tap.

Menu

The grill is on each table. I really love the prawn. Everything on the grill taste the same, tandoori taste. They will replenish once it is finish. You can request for the item that you want to eat. Usually i would just take prawns and fish. Oh not forgetting they serve very delicious chicken drumstick. I could easily eat 3 of it !

Cocktail

This dish is from the main buffet table. Usually they will have briyani rice, some mutton/chicken curry, salad bar, desert bar.

The place is huge but make sure you call for reservation as it is always full.

I think I was 7 month pregnant here.

There are a few branches in Bangalore but we usually goes to the one in Koramangala.
