My first Indian wedding in India

We was invited to our first Indian wedding in India. It looks similar to the Indians in Malaysia. It's a big hall and the ceremony will be on the stage. Next room was the dining area.

All are brothers except for the little boy is one of their son

The different thing is everyone will queue up to take picture with bride and groom on the stage

This was serve at the wedding. Typical Indian vegetarian food.

We were given a coconut each to bring back. Hehe

Amber's first Christmas

Amber celebrated her first Christmas in Bangalore. We don’t have a Christmas tree here but its okay cause she doesn’t know yet. Next Christmas when we are back home then we will put our Christmas tree, by that time she will know what is Christmas about.

In Phoenix Mall there is a huge Christmas tree.

We just bought her a toy since now she doesn't know anything yet. Look at her clueless face.

This clothes with hat look so cute, it was a preloved item that i got.

Fisherman wharf, Bangalore

This restaurant was introduced by a friend i know in a website for expat. It's very near to the place i stayed so we went there for dinner. This restaurant is from Goa and i can feel the Goa atmosphere here. It's a very nice restaurant, suitable for couple dating or with friend and family dinner.

The entrance

Our table. Oh btw there is a live band singing, their singing was good too.

Bar area

Appetiser

Whole fish, it's very yummy as the sauce is butter

Anand sweet shop

Indian sweets are mostly made from sugar, milk and nuts. We bought this for relatives and friends back home in Malaysia. My mother love Indian sweets as it is creamy and full of flavour but to me I think it is too sweet. It is not cheap for a small piece actually. While we were in Bangalore, for Deepavali we bought small boxes of sweet from this shop to be given to our Indians friends and worker for the occasion.

There are so many to choose from. After we choose it will be weight for the price.

Phobidden fruit, Bangalore

In India, we had the chance to try their best mango during the season. It's called Alphonso mango. It is higher price than the normal mango but it is worth it. The flesh is thick and sweet. Usually we will buy one box that consist of 6 mango, roughly this will cost about Rs600.

We did some google search for Vietnamese food in Bangalore as we crave for beef noodle. So we chosen Phobidden Fruit.

I had forgotten the name of this dish, it's something like black sauce pork

Accompany with rice, the pork is too little to finish off with the rice

Crab that i feel it's too little flesh

Prawn pho which is ok ok only. This is famous Vietnamese noodle

Beef pho, tasted better than prawn pho

Braised pork, sinful with fats but so yummy. This is under appetiser but i eat it with rice because the sauce is so good to go with the rice

Fried jumbo prawn, the prawn it's jumbo but i think they fried it for too long thus making the prawn less crunchy

The sitting area

The staircase to go up. Downstairs do have sitting area but i find that many mosquitoes there

Favourite snacks in Bangalore, India

One of our favourite addiction in Bangalore is chicken wings from KFC. In Malaysia we don't have this chicken wing bucket, it's really a good snacks for a movie.

Swensen is another our favourite snacks. Usually I order the sticky chewy chocolate. The price is cheaper in India compared to Malaysia.

We indulge on the fondue one day but not to my liking. I only like sticky chewy chocolate.

The best part for this two snack is they provide delivery. Swensen free delivery with ordered of certain amount above ( I can't remember but it's very low) while KFC charged minimum amount i think Rs50 only for delivery.

Cafe Coffee Day

Cafe Coffee Day is a chain store in India like Starbucks. They have it everywhere ! Their drinks is just so so, I prefer Starbucks Java Chip though. Too bad they don't have Starbucks in India.

Feeding Amber in Coffee Day

To be honest i don't like the cakes in India, I feel that it's overly sweet and hard

They do have Gloria Jean's too in Phoenix Mall. We ordered chocolate drink this time, tasted ok only. Another pit stop for us to feed Amber and take a rest.
